The treatments the dead sea can offer

Treatments can be obtained from local Dermatologists but are expensive and not always necessary, good advice from people who have been to the Dead Sea can save you money and if followed correctly can obtain the results you require, remember no two people are exactly the same and only you can tell how much sun per day you can tolerate, a good rule of thumb is to increase your exposure by 15 to 30 minutes per day till you find the right balance, combine this with short periods in the Hotel Dead Sea pools or the Dead Sea itself, and use the fresh water pools to cool-off and exercise. Very few people do get sunburn because the area has an extra layer of atmosphere which filters out the shorter U.V.B. rays while allowing the larger U.V.A. rays to penetrate, U.V.B. rays are harmful while U.V.A. rays tan rather than burn.

Arthritic and Rheumatic conditions benefit from not only the sun but low humidity, dry air, bathing in the Dead Sea waters, thermal mineral baths and treatments available at the Hotel spa.

Respiratory conditions such as Asthma benefit from the pollen free atmosphere, unpolluted air, High Oxygen content and low humidity.
